To Bungonia Progress Association
Dear members; Dear friends,
The Bungonia Progress Association provided us with a wonderful celebration party on 10th December to mark our recent Engagement.
We are writing to Thank you for your generosity. The evening was generously conceived and brilliantly executed.
The whole night was the result of the work, skills and kindness of many people.
The Hall was beautifully decorated we would like to
thank all those who helped there – lovely Table flowers from the garden
(Judy Stoneman I think) and table settings (Rose?), the banner (Mick
Hepplestone I think), photos (
The food looked beautiful and was delicious and varied , the nibbles and three courses catering for all tastes was a major organizational and logistic feat; everyone who contributed to the food ,especially every cook who put their skills and hands to make their specialities for the feast -we Congratulate and thank you all.
A special thanks must go to our own wonderful cake artist-Judy Knott. She made not one but two cakes! –One specifically Diabetic the stunning Orange cake -so John could have some; and a superb meringue and cream torte with strawberries for others.
Thankyou to all those who prepared the kitchen and
set up the hall. On the night, the hard working Kitchen helpers also
included many who joined themselves into washing up and serving out the
courses. Deep in the troughs of dishes and pans (Gerry), scraping
/drying & stacking plates Margo Damien Jenny Judith Diana and running
back and forth (Rob,
We especially again want to thank Diana Moran who did the event coordination and contacted the guests. This Coordinator’s role- Diane’s skill, time and constancy of this job should not be under-estimated as it was the foundation for the success of the whole night-from having the invitations out, the numbers known, the food provision allocated so there was sufficient of each course-
There is nothing better then having friends, family, neighbours and community members as well as work colleagues wishing us well.
The whole event was a wonderful gift; full of joyful memories.
We felt very humbled and cherished –Thankyou; we are very lucky to live here.
Yours, with deep gratitude
