Cals' Quick Scan

 

Cals' Quick Scan is where you can have your old Standard 8mm & Super 8mm films converted to DVD.

This is done by using the Cine-TranzPRO system for perfect image reproduction.

This system does not capture the image bounced off a projection screen but, through an optical lens, whereby the 3CCD video camera can actually be focused up to the focal plane of the film projector.

Instead of the old hot 100 watt globe projecting the film onto the wall - the 100 watt glove has been replaced with a series of white LED's which light up the focal plane.

Because there is absolutely no heat generated onto the film whatsoever, the film can actually be stopped in the projector and this allows a very crisp focus ability - hence better film reproduction.

Other services available are the transfer of audio tapes, VHS, BETA, 8m video tapes, photos, slides, LP's & singles - together with the good old reel to reel audio systems.

I started this hobby from doing all of my families old films and photos.

Stemming from that humble beginning, I accumulated an array of various machines which I now use in order to preserve the history of other families.

I am still adding to my collection and if you now have a large volume of documents that you need scanning into a document so that you can save it to computer - then I have the equipment to do that also at just 7 cents per page.  You won't find a scanning business to do if for anywhere near this low price.
